About our founder – Tim Whitehouse

Caprica Online Accountants was founded by Tim Whitehouse in 2011. Caprica Online Accountants was set up because Tim felt that by taking advantage of online technologies it was possible to provide a far greater level of service to small business and contractor clients than had previously been possible with ‘offline’ accounting firms.

Prior to founding Caprica Online Accountants, Tim trained as a Chartered Accountant at the ‘Big Four’ accounting firm Ernst & Young. After qualification Tim specialised in acquisition due diligence advising big technology, media and telecoms companies like Vodafone and Nokia on their acquisitions of small businesses and startups.
